Yep, I have a sheet of paper at my fridge's door with the list of must-draws, but those bastards still haunt me until I draw them + some of them continue to do so even after I finish them - they don't like some details and so on...

I know that 'Must do gory' feeling. It is an urge that must be satisfied. Maybe some of the haunted drawing can be used for this purpose. Slipping the odd bit of gory, even if in the background, can be quite theraputic.
Brain printer. That would be ideal although, for me, I think I may damage it with some of the things that wizz thorugh my mind.They would have to make some sort of saftey device that went with it to prevent it from exploding from dark thoughts.(insert an emoticon with it's head exploding)

Tom Ligotti, eh? I'll have to jot that one down. I've just finished warping my head with Kraken by China Mieville. That guy has the most amazing way of writing and uses combinations of words I would never have even thought were, well,real words.
I will do. I am working on a series of pieces at the moment called Love and other such sicknesses. I'm not sure when they'll be up bu I will let you know when they are. They are slightly different from what I usually do.

I think Grant Morrison in The Invisibles sorted that time thing out for us. His explanation of alernate dimensions/universes is mind warping yet strangely common sense.

Thank you for the Ligotti warning. I must admit that I haven't read that much of his work to have created such melancholia. But I have jotted down those titles for future reference. I can see myself wandering down that avenue.

No, I cannot think of an author who has depressed me to such an extent. Life has a tendency to effect more in that way. However, there have been authors who have challenged my perception of reality. This in turn has lead me into periods of intense illumination and The Dark Night of the Soul.
That will be a marvelous achievement for you when it is published.

My university days are almost a memory I'd fogotten about. Althought, I do remember almost losing myself in my final year. I had to prove to the world that I wasn't stupid, you see.

You may wish to take some light refreshment with you. Then again, there is something quite beautiful in Lovecraft's sorrow and hideous nightmares. I've always found myself annually returning to Lovecraft, his influence is never very far away from my mind. I used to roleplay a lot of Call of Cthulhu in my early 20's so it almost feels like going home. Please feel free to wax lyrical on the things that you find on your venture.

Yes, that is it. Too many other things that are more important than following a set of prescribed rituals for attentaining a particular sanatized version of knowledge. I was far too interested in the fringe aspect of life and had to bend myself and my brain into a shape that would fit that type of learning. Quite hideous. Still, it got me to Japan so it was worth it.
I do hope so. I also enjoy our strange little missives here. Although, I must tell you now I'm rubbish at juggling.
