This is Sol, the president of the United Federation of Nexus. He... are... you okay, Sol?

Sol: "Yeah... it's just... I'm not use to having people take pictures of me..."

Okay? Well, Sol is the first president of Nexus, and to this day he's still president, he's been president for over 1000 years, due to his alicorn heritage. Some say, "Sol is more of a prince than a president," which seems about right... Also, don't be fooled by Sol's bright colors or his appearence, he may seem nice, but deep down, he is a much more powerful being, not just because of his abilities as an alicorn, but most of his power comes out of depression and anger, because he lost his mother after the asteroid crashed into planet Equis over 1000 years ago. He lost her when he was only 187 years old. Before the asteroid collided into Equis, he was put into a special shrine to keep him from any harm from the asteroid blast, where he had slept for over the next couple of decades until the apocalypse calmed down. When he had woken up and left the shrine, he found that there was nothing around him, his entire home was in ruins and the kingdom he had once lived in was gone, he had also come to find out ponies and changelings had now ruled the planet... everything else, griffons, dragons, deer, dogs, etc... all gone. It took him some time, but he unified the villages into one large community, which then evolved into a city (that later became Capitol City), then they started expanding their borders and developing technology. About a century later, Sol had created the nation we know today as Nexus (although it wasn't as advance as we see in the show). At the same time, the changelings had found a new leader who've unified them and built their own nation as well, but that's another story.

Sol: "My mother may be gone, but I'll continue to rule the land she once owned... I will make it great again. No, I am not like that Trump guy or whoever he is in your time..."

Nexus Trooper: "Sir, are you ready to be escorted back home?"

Sol: "Yes, please."
