Ever read the official MLP comics?
Theres an arc where Big Macintosh just wants to buy a box of nails and everything than can goes wrong DOES. xD
They explore on his inner dialouge alot, you should check it out.

A guy on YouTube named "Chrono Shenron" scans them and puts them on a video.
