This story really looks good, but I has some continuity errors.
First of all, how is Ariel/Vanessa find the tine trident is she's a giant now? Besides, didn't she leave it back in the palace when she began to grow-up?
Second, where did Ariel/Vanessa get that crown?
Finally, that was pretty quick from Triton to appear. And how is that he still have the trident and his crown? Also, I believe the potions Ursula just drop in her cauldron because Triton suddenly scared her with his repentine appearance will have consequences.

Wasn't Ariel Ursula's niece? I believe Triton and Ursula were siblings in the Brothers Grimm tale. And Ursula was Ariels Aunt.

Well I’m not sure but the Little mermaid was written by Hans Christian Anderson not the Brothers Grimm. Also Triton and Ursula in the movie might had an relationship of some kind either a former friends or relative in the past hinted in the first movie but no clue on what kind was it.
