Ah, so I guess Frollo had backstabbed Gaston, eh? Typical... Well, at least this comic arc establishes that Frollo's a Satanist, which definitely was a LOT better than in the original film (I'll be honest, Frollo wasn't done well in the movie, being overall more like Elmer Fudd in terms of vileness, even with the more dark bits about him. He certainly doesn't even come close to outranking Maleficent by any stretch, or any of the classic villains for that matter. Maybe if he were depicted more like Phillippe Augustine from Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem or Barthandelus/Primarch Dysley from Final Fantasy XIII, he'd definitely be one of Disney's more evil villains [probably not eviler than Maleficent, but at least eviler than the Evil Queen, Lady Tremaine, Ursula, Jafar, or Scar.].).
