did you ever think they might eat chickens in their spare time?

Zombies should (occasional to similar in Dead Rising) drop a severed limb. But for Minecraft, it should be called "Meaty appendage". It should work like your idea... :3

Well, Notch actually said that he "made zombies drop feathers because" he "didn't know what else to make them drop."

Y'know, if you hit an enemy with that bait arrow, Zombies and Spiders would attack that enemy to get the meat that is now stuck to it. Skeletons and Creepers still wouldn't leave you alone, though.

But it may still help.

Exactly. Now what would it do to Slimes?

Wait, are you Notch? seems strange how you're making these things and I can't find the stuff.

Definitely agree with zombies needing a new drop than feathers. Give them something else and chickens suddenly become more useful.

That last part is entirely true. Though Notch is adding cake sometime soon so eggs will probably have a use for once! *other than throwing them*

Oh, how useful that'd be for The Slip.

I never understood why feathers. I mean--when skeletons dropped feathers it at least made some kind of sense because they had a bow and arrow. But zombies??? XD
This is really creative though!! I could use this right quick!! But wait--you'd use zombie flesh to lure zombies? hmmm I guess that'd work since zombies eat anything, huh? lol!
It'd be hilarious if you could eat it yourself and then become a zombie!

He stated in his twitter recently that he had only put feathers in zombie because chickens were not implemented yet, plus he didn't know what to put in a zombie.

: O Really? I had no idea! That's interesting!! Yeah, I agree, it'd be hard to decide what zombies could drop. Especially since Notch is really trying to keep this game clean and without gore for all ages.

Hah, yeah. One of the suggestions in the GetSatisfaction website was to make them drop human meat.

They COULD drop zombie body parts. LOL. Like a leg or a dismembered arm--And then you could use them to craft things!!! XDD ...But then again, it wouldn't fit in with the non-gore theme again. hahaha

A zombie head that you could put on a pole as a warning sign would be awesome.
