Description

Finally adults, now was the time for Xavier and Irenaeus to prove themselves. They'd never tackled very large prey, too small young and cautious to be willing to. But they were large and strong enough to finally give it a shot.

They had stalked a Parasaurolophus herd for a while. While he wasn't their first choice, when Irenaeus sprung his ambush it was a young bull para that fled in the direction Xavier waited. He may not have been as old and wise as some other bulls, but he sure knew how to fight and it was a struggle for Irenaeus to weaken him before he made it to the gully Xavier hid in. Both predator and prey exhausted, it was finally time for Xavier to step in and hopefully bring this tiring, monumentous hunt to an end.
