Lycanos are a stronger version of lobosi (they're kinda like a fire emblem class change). Just like lobosi, lycanos are known for being very strong monsters. They boast an immunity to every metallic weapon that isn't made of silver and significantly quick regenerative abilities. Their brawn is matched with intelligence close to that of a human that makes them one of the most dangerous tier 2 beast type monsters. This is only made worse by the fact that they get exponentially stronger at night and hunt in packs. Living near lycanos isn't a complete death sentence though. Due to their intelligence it is relatively easy to pacify them. Lycanos are smart enough to reason that hunting other monsters will almost always be easier than going after settlements, so in the rare case of lycanos threatening one they can usually be warded off by leaving out some food for them.
Lycanos will usually develop intelligence equal to or greater than that of a human a few years after becoming a lycanos unless the process is sped up by them being in an area with a high concentration of aether (magic energy). A sapient lycanos will remain with the pack they were born into if possible and assist them in becoming sapient lycanos as well. Packs of sapient lycanos/lobosi are very social with any nearby settlements and usually end up merging with them.
It is a common misconception that being bitten by a lycanos turns you into a lycanos. The truth is that lycanos have fangs that secrete milk instead of venom (lobosi do as well it's just not strong enough to effect humans). Their milk causes the hair and nails of a human to grow very fast until it leaves their system. Getting bitten once usually leads to growing a foot of hair and 6 inches worth of nails (both finger nails and toe nails). Alchemists often use lycanos milk to make hair growth potions. If you were to do something crazy like meet 14 lycanos behind a restaurant you'd probably end up looking like Cousin Itt after everything is said and done.

Unique Racial Ability: Werewolf's might- Lycanos are immune to damage from weapons that aren't made of silver, and they regenerate fast enough for small amounts of damage (think getting stabbed by a pocket knife) to heal almost instantly.
