I actually like V-day. I don't have (and never had) a boyfriend and I couldn't be happier! All I need is my family and friends. 
Besides, V-day started when St. Valentine secretly married people. Even though he was punished, people threw flowers to him while he was in jail and such. To me, V-day is all about sharing love with people.
