Contest 5 (and) 7 is 1 (and) 2 is 3NEW - DEADLINE EXTENSION TO 31st May 2024 - NEWUnfortunately, I don't have any milestones to celebrate this time. For example, last year I had 40 years of active singing and 25 years of board service, but this year?This year there is only one normal birthday to celebrate. A completely normal one?But not quite “normal” if you look closer.....The number 57 has spiritual and humanitarian meaning. It is a combination of the numbers 5 and 7, which represent freedom, change, progress, spiritual awakening, enlightenment, faith, intuition, creativity and art.People associated with these two numbers have a gift for writing, especially creative writing, which then expresses the independence of the writer and the communication of himself and the self of others. If the two numbers 5 and 7 are added together, the result is 12. If these are added together, the result is 3. Now there is a more detailed explanation of the individual numbers:3 = creativity, self-expression, tolerance and inspirationThe 3 stands for creative power and creation. Contest topics/themes Some topics will have a fun factor, some are special, some may have a healing effect, some are just out of the blue or special favourite topics. There will be 10 different topics for the contest - Trees (topic 1) - Spring (topic 2) - Sky Sensations (topic 3)- Music (topic 4) - Flowers (topic 5) - Monuments (topic 6) - Everlasting Memories (topic 7) - Thankfulness (topic 8) - Birds (topic 9)- Who or What could I be (topic 10) Winners There will be 82 winners in the end - First place (10 x) - Second place (10 x) - Third place (10 x) - Honorable mentions/runners up (10 x) - First place AI (10 x) - Second place AI (10 x) - Third place AI (10 x) - Honorable mentions/runners up AI (10 x) - Special prize addition (1 x) - Special prize addition AI (1 x) Here is what the contest is about Topic 1: Trees All types of trees (coniferous, deciduous or fruit trees) as a whole or in parts. This means leaves on a branch, flowers on the tree, extracts from the trunk or roots or, in the case of fruit trees, the fruits on the tree. Topic 2: Spring Landscapes and scenery with delicate green leaves, tulips, primroses, returning birds, spring storms, but also festivals associated with spring, for example Easter or spring solstice, winter expulsion. Topic 3: Sky Sensations This is the place for spectacular sky scenes, whether they be sunrises or sunsets or planetary and cosmic celestial phenomena, such as comets, shooting stars, the evening star. Topic 4: Music Music is very broad. There is space here for bands, musical instruments, song lyrics, singers, dancers, sheet music or even parts of them. Topic 5: Flowers All kind of flowers will find their place here. It also can be still life flowers or floral arragements/decorations. Topic 6: Monuments Everything concerning monuments. Historical monuments, specific buildings with historical significance, crypts or tombstones in cemeteries, or simply memorable places where memorable scenes had taken place, for example battlefields. Topic 7: Everlasting Memories Let your memories about things, people, places, events come up that you will never forget in your life because they were so memorable and unique. Topic 8: Thankfulness For what are you thankful? Gestures, kind words, kindness, acceptance, tolerance...What is it? Topic 9: Birds Here is the place for our feathered friends. Domestic animals (budgies, parrots), wild birds (tits, blackbirds, starlings), large birds (storks, herons) and birds of prey (owls, eagles). The birds mentioned are just examples...there are a lot more. Topic 10: Who or What could I be? What do you think? Like in every contest, I hosted, there will be a "personal" folder to spice things up. As you have noticed on Discord, my slogan is "Between Heaven and Earth". Some people think that I might be an elf or an angel or a dragon. So what do you choose and how would you like to depict me in the form you have chosen out of the three. I am very curious...!!! Dates The contest will start on 01st February 2024. It will end on 30th April 2024.Deadline extended on wish to 31st May 2024. Deadline will be extended if necessary!! New or old art It can be either new art or old art, whereby new art after the date of this journal would be prefered. What language (literature) should the deviations have - English - German - French - Latin (these are my most common languages) How many entries can you submit All participants can submit up to 20 deviations (that means, one piece of art for each topic - but not two or more for one topic). Please indicate in your author's description for what topic/theme you have created your work. Deviations can be either left as a comment on this blog/journal or be sent per note to me. I will create 20 different folders in my collections (fav.) gallery, where you can see the works in.
