This was the cover for a CD project a few friends and I did on The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. It was a requirement... and we totally owned. Extra credit, even.

Most of the time I hate books we have to read for English. Or at least dislike them greatly, not hate. I loved The Scarlet Letter, though, particularly Hawthorne's style. It's easier to read when you annotate it, too.

My favorite scene. Arthur Dimmsdale exposes HIS scarlet letter to the town before dying.

Which is why I chose that scene for the cover of our CD <3.
