Description
New sniper rifle in 7.62x51 NATO. Even though it looks like a modern semi-auto it's actually a bolt-action.Edit: changed background to good old white.

An interesting approach to the whole "semi-auto vs bolt-action" debate. The thumbnail made the weapon look like (yet another) G3 conversion, but closer inspection really does reveal it to be more interesting. I guess one argument for traditional bolt action rifles is that the traditional shape gives that extra inch of barrel length and possible slimness compared to the more modern assault rifle conversions. However, the conversions give less of a learning curve to your Joe Infantryman. And possibly more room for awesome gadgetry.
So is your design meant for a dedicated sniper or for a squad designated marksman?

Bolt-action is also more precise because there are less moving parts.
I think it can be used for DM and sniper, even though I think a DM can serve better with a semi-automatic because of the higher rate of fire.
The dust-cover was inspired by the Sig550 & variants.

The red background has some special reason. It gives the whole picture a better contrast. Some of the shadow detail are not visible without. If you don't like it, download the pic, open it with paint and change the background, it's PNG so no problem.
