Collage (old magazine clipping of a bird, well half of a bird), graphite pencil, and acrylics (Golden brand: yellow ochre, cobalt teal were a couple of the colors I used) on an old printmaking lino block. After glueing down the half bird image I began making changes to it, painting and drawing on it until I liked what I saw. Some bits of the collage portion were torn off to create some texture. If I missed something in particular that you were curious about, let me know.

And I love the legs you gave him. Kind of a small thing to focus on, but it really seems that he'd walk more like a person than a bird, and I like that.
