Gotta say, I really love how this one came out It took me quite a while to do considering I didn't have much time. But I used techniques I learned in my Drawing class in this. As such, I think I've evolved a little. So it's Sesshomaru and his mate Naruto. This goes with my fic "Silver and Gold"
The story behind this is that before Naruto turned sixteen, he found out some interesting secrets. One being that the Kyuubi was actually his father and Minato (thanks to some demon potions) was his mother (meaning he was pregnant with Naruto and he's really a hanyou. Kyuubi was just using his chakra to keep his features hidden. Don't get me wrong, I like Kushina, but I needed the idea to work into the main plot)
Anyway, after unfortunate circumstances, Minato sealed Kyuubi into Naruto and blahblah, you know what happens. Before Naruto turned sixteen (before the seal would break down and consume the fox's soul), Kyuubi explained that he had long ago (about a hundred I believe) signed a marriage contract with the Inu no Taisho of the Western Lands, Touga (Sessh and Inu's father) betrothing Sesshomaru to Kyuubi's first born in order to combine their lands.
This in turn leads into the main plot of Sesshomaru taking Naruto to the Western Lands before his eighteen birthday (the contract stated that they would have to mate before Naruto's eighteenth year since this would be his first heat and the perfect time to take him (and fill him with pup >3)) Eventually Sasuke comes into the picture and tries to ruin everything by taking Naruto back and partners with Naraku to do it. Inuyasha and the gang join in on the fun as well.
The story itself focuses on the obstacles the pair have to overcome not only with their enemies (Sasuke and Naraku) but with themselves and each other.
I'm really trying to focus on something more indepth with this fic and I think I'm succeeding so far. As of now, the fic is eight chapters and fifty one pages long and I have thirteen chapters planned out so far. So hopefully this'll be the one I finish And if I do, I'm thinking about a sequel, but not sure what I should cross it over with. Saiyuki is an option, but let me know if you have any ideas.
Again, the picture makes me happy. Mostly done in marker, but there is ink in there. I really tried to give the background some flare and decided to use red ink to give the impression of splattered blood. I think I succeeded, but not sure. You let me know!
