Okay after finaly catching the new ep today(thank you Thanksgiving Marathon ), cause I missed it on friday .I was beyond exploding with happiness when I saw it !!! because in the ep I saw a animal that made me squealy beyond all comprehenshion !!! THOSE ELK THINGS THAT THE WATER TRIBE HAD !!! I SAW THOSE AND OMG XD It was just love at first sight . Those things rock my socks !!! So yea plan to see quite a few of these cause yea XD I lubem ..This picture though was actually done from memory , and I was very close . I started to draw it almost immediatly after the ep so I wouldnt forget what they looked like .
After I finished drawing I was curious and went to go look to see if their were any screen shots !!! HUZZZAh their was ...The only thing i was off on was .. well other than the overflowing detail I have that the Tv version sorly lacks . I had the horns a little off but I fixed it .I also messed up a big on the chin beard thing . It actually has a bushy chin beard .....
Well I left that off because it looks better without it .If I had a elk thing .. I would trim its beard furr .
ANYWAY , yus so here you guys go ! A detailed drawing of the Avatar Elks .....
Dose anyone know what they are called.
If no one knows , Im either gonna call them
Water Elks
Northern Tundra Elks
or Winter elks
Which one do you think goes best ?

well my version and the originals are slightly different . The ones in the show have LONG beards .. It made them fugly so I have him keep his trimed

Lol you know I thought that when I saw that on TV . But Yakule wasnt as beefy and he truely was based off Certain Elks . These are like taking Elks and Mixing them with draft horses ^_^ I love it .. and yakuel rocks

i think you should call them fluffies and leave it at that. ^^ because i'm really, really impressed with your detail on the fluff. *__* i want to pet it, feed it apples, and ride it, (and i do horseback, so you can't take that the wrong way) .really nice job on this one. you're really good with animals o_o~
