Alright, I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve been pretty much spazzing since the wee hours of Sunday morning about the fantastic trailer shown to us at the NYCC. The amazing Zutaraness of the trailer was embedded into nearly every scene, which made it hard to watch without spazzing over most of the audio. The first time I seen it, I was in a bit of shock over the entire thing, and now I know more then ever that Zutara is going to be canon! I can’t go over everything in the trailer without taking up too much space, so if you want to read more of my views on it, visit my latest journal.

About the hug itself, first off, I am still in shock over the hug that took place between them. I was so surprised when Katara is the one that ran up to him as if that was the only way she could inaudibly let him know what she was feeling. If you look at it closely, the look on Katara’s face is so intense. To me, it looks like she’s about to bust into tears any second. Zuko on the other hand, looks quite surprised when he realized that she’s coming near him, but without a second lost, he wraps his arms tightly around her waist and closes his eyes as if he’s been waiting for that moment his entire life. I have no idea in which episode this moment occurs, but we can see by her affection toward him that it must take place after she forgives him. Wow, I’m really just making myself spazz even more, and this scene makes me so excited to find out what other amazing Zutara moments are going to be coming our way for the rest of this series!

As for my predictions when this episode might happen, I couldn’t tell you for sure. All that’s recognizable about this scene is their clothes, which they are not wearing in Ember Island Players (Which I believe is the episode where Katara pulls away from Aang’s kiss! ) or the ninja episode, so as far as an exact time when it could be on, I don’t know. But if you want my opinion when I sincerely think it’s going to happen, I’d say the last few moments of Boiling Rock Pt. 2. My reasoning behind this comes from the other part in the trailer where Katara catches Zuko when he’s falling. They are wearing the same clothes and Katara just came to terms with nearly losing him, which is what I believe the hug is for. Watching him nearly fall to his death would have been absolutely traumatic for her, and when they’re on the ground, seeing him okay must have been so hard to bear. Don’t quote me on this saying that’s when the hug will occur because where she catches him could be a different episode all together. No one knows. *Shrugs* But those are just my predictions. Because if they have something as sweet as a hug earlier on, it’ll lead to much more development in their relationship than later on in the third season, but we’ll just have to watch to find out what happens.

I doodled down this picture while still spazzing over the trailer, but instead of making this look too much like the screenshot from the finale trailer, I decided to add some of my own touches to it to make it my own without losing out on the effect the Zutara hug had and is still having on all of us. I know it seems kind of naughty having Katara hug Zuko without her leggings on, but I was having a few issues with Katara’s pants, so I just decided to have her robe on with her leg wrappings underneath. Also, I added the tears in reverence to the look Katara had on her face as she hugged him.

Also, good news! The avatar episodes are CONFIRMED to continue to air on July 14th, which is a Monday. Weird. But I think they’re doing this so they can air all of the episodes before the final DVD comes out on July 29th. Also, May 6th is when the DVD for the episodes 311 – 315, includes BOTH Boiling Rock episodes is set to release before they even air on Nick, so that’s all something we can look forward to in the near future and also the awesome Zutaraness contained in the rest of the season before Zutara becomes CANON!!!!
