Two sketches I did during Comicfest this weekend. :3The first is Yewon by [link] , I wanted to do something nice for her since she has been sick lately.
And second is Risu by [link] since it was her birthday a few days ago!
As I was saying in my journal, I am wanting to draw on paper more so I bought a sketchbook to practice. These are the first two in the book and the first 2 drawings (in my style, not counting school) I have done on paper in a good year or so!
I know that there are anatomy issues with these :/ I'm just so used to photoshop where I can just move something around if it's not right! (which is honestly what I do all the time. I just draw things on separate layers and move them until the anatomy is correct) lol So, it's gonna take some practice to get it right without having to erase a hole through my paper! XD;;;

I love how DISPLEASED Risu looks because part of her character is that people are afraid of her because THIS IS JUST HOW SHE LOOKS but really shes a super sweet person and JUST WANTS TO BE FRIENDS! Plus I also fucking love the detail in the bow and love the dress you gave her *O* Its so bootiful! ALSO I COLORED IT AGAINST ITS WILL and will post it later 83!!!! THANK YOU FOR WONDERFUL GIFT!!!!

Okay, yeah they're pretty and all... But did you seriously do two commissions in the weekend, and none of your actual list on DA?
And your DA list paid upfront, right? So, I'm going to assume, the money they paid you is all gone, being as you probably already spent their hard earned money. Which, is actually really funny since you haven't produced anything to that list. LOL.
It's like paying for phone service upfront and waiting for months on end for the service to be turned on, while the company sits on their ass with your money. Mmmm.. That company'd be out of business.

Uh...these were gifts, really heartfelt ones at that. Are you trying to say an artist can't draw anything for themselves between actual commissions? Because I truly think if thats the case, you're completely in the wrong.
You really should apologize, that was incredibly tactless. You're not one of her clients, so you shouldn't have beef with her.

first of im sure all the people who commissioned her understand fully that she is a busy person and she lets us all know whats going on, if ppl didn't want to wait they could msg her about it she doesn't ignore them
i commission with her alot and if she was still taking on commissions i would ask for more and not care when it comes cause i know it does get to me when she has the time
she has a life shes not a robot that sits there and work and work, she as all other artists need to practice she wants her commission do be perfect not like "oh okay ill do it quick and not give it my best" and not give a crap she does all her commissions from her heart
you don't know how the other commissioners feel neither do i so don't go assuming and if none of them knew she was busy they wouldn't commission her, everyone knows she works

WHOA... Where is this coming from?
First of all, no they aren't commissions, they are gifts/practice for me to do commissions in the future. They are gifts for people who have done/continue doing wonderful things for me/have supported me in the past.
Second, If you go back into my deviations for oh, I'd say almost the last 2 years, it has been NOTHING but commissions/school work. (minus the periods of about April-May where I work on con stuff, which is what period I am in now) I haven't worked on any of my OWN work in a little over 2 years. So, its not like I'm running around doing a bunch of other stuff instead of doing commissions. Outside of con season, the only work i EVER produce is commission/school work. I see so many people that owe commissions out there posting nothing but personal work (in fact, I have two waiting on people like that so, believe me, I understand the feeling. Which is why I feel so bad about it and don't do any personal work)
Third, almost all of my commissions are digital. I have two that are traditional but they are supposed to be much much bigger than what I did here. And in my opinion, I am not as good in traditional as I am digital. So, also in my opinion, it wouldn't hurt for me to get some practice in before I give them something that I might feel is sub-par and not worth the wait.
Fourth, A lot of stuff has happened in my life since I took this last group of commissions (which is my last group ever btw and started with "commission: christmas chibis" at the top of that list, so you are incorrect in saying I haven't contributed to that list, i have actually done 5 off of it in the last few months) I had a string of illnesses since November, one being some sort of stomach issue, another being a bladder infection and the most recent being whooping cough which lasted almost 8 weeks. I have a day job too of doing art and I didn't even really do much of that in that time. I spent that whole time in bed.
Fifth, I already feel incredibly guilty that people have to wait on me to do commissions. Which is WHY, I always post journals giving updates on my current status. One of the most recent ones being that I was going to put commissions aside for con season and pick them back up sometime in June. I already feel like a total asshole every time that I have to tell people that they need to wait a bit longer. Which is why, like I have said multiple times, I never work on anything BUT commissions when I have time to work on something outside of my day job/con season.
So, please do your research into this sort of thing before you go bitching at me. You aren't even on my commission list so I am confused as to why you are so pissy about it? If you are on my list and this is a different account, then please just tell me! I am all about being straight-forward and honest. But, you might also be a friend of one of my commissioners and if that's the case then please tell them to voice their concerns to me in private. It's not like I'm some horrible person that they can't talk to and if they are this upset about it, they can speak to me about a refund.
