Description
This is my Volks Dollfie Dream 24" tall custom doll of Serenity Wheeler and her ancestors, from the series "Yu-Gi-Oh!"I handpainted her face in iridescent acrylics and rooted in her hair to have it in Serenity's upturned bangs style. Then, I decided to make all 4 Era versions outfits for her "clothes!"
She's Serenity Wheeler from Present Day, then Princess Cecily of York from 1485 AD England, then Kisara from 1385 BC Egypt, and finally Lady Callisto from 8000 BC Atlantis. For the latter two, she's wearing a snow white wig!!!

I think it's your fault that I'm getting a Dollfie Dream this Christmas LOL! Not in a bad way of course. I started out with my little 1/6 size (Hana) and now I'm completely in love with Dollfie Dream! I think I'll say thanks for making me fall in love with them! ^^

I'm planning on making her a new OC but I also reaalllyyy want to make Seto Kaiba!! Fave YuGiOh Character, and honestly it would be too awesome to have Seto sitting with my other DD! ^^

I'm new at dollfies and I don't want to spend too much. Is there some place that you would start, or better yet, what was your first doll?

You can start with 1/6 dollfie (Barbie size) or go right for the 1/4 or 1/3 sizes. These are much more costly but triple the size, so....
Besides Barbies and official BanDai Sailor Moon dolls, my first dollfies were the Volks Dollfie, which we turned into the Sailor Moon Characters. ^^
My first 1/3 dollfie were 4 at once---Seto Kaiba, Serenity Wheeler, Ryou Bakura and Rebecca Hawkins. I've since sold Ryou and Rebecca, and replaced them with Tsukimori and Hino from Corda; and Yuzuru and Nozomi from Harukanaru. I'm now working on making Trowa & Cathrine from Gundam W; StarMaker & Pluto from Sailor Moon for myself and Quatre & Dorothy from Gundam W; Star Fighter & Uranus from Sailor Moon for my sister.
Additionally, there are also 'realistic' BJD, which we made into our favorite seiyuu. ^^
Anyway, if you're looking for the least costly BJD, in 1/3 size, I'd go with Obitsu 60cm (with Parabox head for anime faces) or for realistic look, Obitsu 60cm with Gretel or Haruka head OR Bobobie 60cm. They're actually even less costly than Obitsu!!!

Awww, thank you!! I'm so glad you like their faces so much!!! And their outfits! We try hard to make them just as much like their anime/manga counterparts as possible!

We won't be putting her on auction, but she is available on our website for commission. Dollfie Dreams are REALLY expensive though (the bodies are OUTRAGEOUSLY priced is the problem!) I guess because they're so huge, but still. I think the bodies are still too costly!
