Description i turned my last interior to show what the other side looked like. but i changed up the lighting. im still working on this hole lighting thing. im sure ill get it.

holly sh** 10 hours? too much, i will wait until the future renders run faster than 10 hours a single frame- i-ll getolder i i keep waiting a render like yours... cheers!

Looks nice, still don't know what renderer you're using though. One possible reason you're getting blotchy renders is to do with the geometry itself. Most renderers are designed to be "smart" in that they can work out optimal settings based on the size of objects in the scene. For example, if you were lighting a car model inside a relatively huge white box or the inside of a massive sphere object, the renderer would pick a number of samples appropriate for the whole scene, not taking into account the fact that although some of the geometry in the scene was massive, you would only be interested in the part of the scene where the car was. If you then focussed a camera on a tiny part of that scene (in my hypothetical situation, this would be the car) you'd end up seeing artefacts.

Of course, this may not be the case with your scene but it is one possibility. Otherwise just whack up the number of samples. I wouldn't bother increasing the number of bounces though; this would only make the scene lighter slightly while increasing your render time. You want a smoother result, not a lighter one as far as I know.

im just using the rendering engine that comes with cinema... i cant afford or cant figure out any of the other ones. ive tried kerkytha but i cant really figure it out... im using it more and more though, and then ive tried the demo of fryrender but i cant figure out how to put my scenes in it so.... any tip's for the stock render engine? or know of any other free ones?
