The Lord hathput a curse
upon me.
The curse of
an abusive mind
has been
placed upon my
shoulders.
Cruel thoughts,
constantly running
through my mind.
Lies being whis-
pered in my
ears.
The Lord hath
put a curse
upon me.
A punishment I
might rightly
deserve.
Millions of sounds
creeping through
my brain, feeding
me tale after
tale of how horrible
I am.
The Lord hath
put a curse
upon me.
The curse of
an abusive
mind.
Some may say
this means you
have the devil
sitting on your
shoulder.
But no, he is
in my mind
instead.
He has been
in my head
since the Lord
hath cursed
me.
Though I have
grown used
to these diminishing
words, I wish I
could know why
I must hear them.

A curse with
which I do not
know what I had
done to
deserve.
