Alright! Before that someone gets all high and mighty on me, yes, I did NOT do this image. I try not to put up other people's art in my gallery for three reasons:
1) Don't want people thinking I stole it.
2) Don't want people to start asking me, "You let such-and-such put a piece in your gallery! Why can't I?" This makes me feel obligated to do it, even though the answer will still be a big fat opposite of . I'm not here to advertize your art. Do it yourself!
3) Mostly I want my gallery to be about my stuff!
However, I REALLY LOVE this pic, so I'll let it go.

This pic was done for me by after I did my request pic for him.
It's the continuation of an image that he have in his gallery.
He didn't have to do it, but out of the kindness of his heart, he did it anyways.

About the pic, it depicts my OC Lorianna trying to free 's OC Fira from 's Star. I know there are some differences, like Lorianna's pearl clasp is gone... but I already know about the limitations of Daz, so it's cool. It comes pretty darn close.
...and I can chalk it up to Star somehow knocking it off. This creates a time limit. Without the pearl clasp, she'll revert back to a human. Luckily, she has about an hour before that happens, so she should be able to save Fira and retrieve her pearl before it's too late... I hope.
Did I say how much I LOVE this image?
Yeah! Part of it is because of aquaphilia (my fetish, not ashamed) but I also love the composition that's creating an awesome pattern of negative space... making your eye move around. Um... yeah go read up on it if you don't know what negative space is.

Much like Juni, I've never been the biggest fan of the 3-D medium, but, I do have to say the composition is quite good, very kinetic, exciting, and it really has that comic-book-action feel in every good way. I can understand why you appreciate your friend's effort as much as you do.

I'm not a super huge fan of 3-d art, but this is pretty cool if I do say so myself!! I love the mermaid swimming through the monster's tentacles to save the drowning woman.

Really glad you like the image man! I didn't realize the pearl clasp was so important, I would have tried to add something in if I was able. Either way, it was a real joy to make (as you know I always like the ol' peril images) and it was good to work with such a new style of character.
Just a quick question, do you have the full size version or did it only save as 800 x 600? It's suppose to be much bigger you see. Want me to email it to you if you don't have it? It's original size is 2000 x 1500 (Have to be tomorrow as I'm gonna call it a night now
