Hard to do with out scuba gear but even harder in that she would realistically need a safety stop to avoid decompression sickness.

Yeah, it won't be an easy task.
As she climbs, she'll have to exhale to reduce the risk of nitrogen bubbles in the bloodstream, as well as swim at a slow and steady pace. But blowing bubbles does decrease the air in your lungs more rapidly, and fifty fathoms is pretty darn deep. Godspeed, Lara.

XD The harder she struggles, the more air she uses. The more air she expels, the less buoyant she becomes, making it harder to rise.
Let's see how good a swimmer she is and how long she can hold her breath...

Wow....I knew that she was going to escape but what you did was very creative. Guess Lara's safe for now...that is if she does not run out of air on her way to the surface. At least she did not end up being eaten.
