Taken in by the crew of the Morning Glory Pirate airship when only young, Ryker quickly learned the ropes and made their way up the ladder to position of first mate. Ryker is a fierce half-drow who's blood holds a savage secret. They were also born a Cradle Blood, Born with the curse of a Lycanthrope, and in Ryker's case a Hyena variety of Lycanthrope. Taking a lot of their nature from their wild side including some physical qualities, Ryker is savage, careless and would do anything to get their hands on a bit of gold.

Ryker and the crew had made port and gotten four sheets to the wind drunk at the local tavern and upon waking up, finding no members of their crew, ship gone and their golden hyena skull heirloom gone.

Ryker now travels with a band of misfits including a Yuan-Ti Tailor, a Tiefling ranger, a Blood hunter Harengon, and Pugilist Half-Orc, All with their own deep dark secrets as they seek out The Morning Glory to extract revenge on the Captain, reclaim their heirloom and take the place of Captain.
