Kiriban prize for for catching my 100k pageview
This was..quite a challenge ( I never drew a naga before) so I cheated a little haha.
Pose is reffed, backdrop is a mix of a photo from google & a texture

I'm sorry this was a little bit out of your comfort zone, and I hope it did not cause too much trouble.Β
But I must say that judging by the final piece, I would never have guessed it was your first time drawing one.
Especially concernign how well you shaded the tail giving features to the inner muscles.
I also love how you posed him,Β with his back turned, and the knife in hand. It makes such an interesting composition when combined with the environment you chose.Β
The red tinted colours are also lovely, bringing in a warm atmosphere.

I just feel it appropriate to at least spend some time trying to express my feelings trough fully when art really makes me feel something.
And then it is only natural to do so with pictures I receive as well. ^^
