Description
This was a character from an old story I made in high school. In his context there was a continent called Wayne that comprised mainly of wilderness, with these magical mega-cities scattered few and far between. The Knights of Wayne were wizards who helped to protect the realm, and they got about by transforming into birdlike creatures. Their faces were the only thing that really didn't change.Since then this character and the entire continent he was based in doesn't play a part in my stories, and the original story I made him for has metamorphosized beyond all recognition to the original plot.
I found the composition of this picture looking through my old sketches and wanted to bring it into something more finished.

The harpy-wizard idea reminds me a lot of Howl's moving castle (not that I mind--I like it). Is there old folklore somewhere that says wizards turn into birds?
