VS Contest Winners!I'M SO SORRY FOR THE DELAYS! BUT FINALLY. THE DAY HAS COME! THE DAY TO ANNOUNCE THE WINNERS OF THE VS CONTEST!
The main thing I ask from all the participants is to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be a good sport about this contest! This was a VERY hard contest to judge and there were MANY amazing entries but I only had so much I could spare for the very few winners of this contest (trust me, im poor as hell so the amount of stuff im giving out is a LOT to me x'D). I tried to design this contest in a way that you would have fun with it (and having fun with my own characters!) rather than just doing it hoping you'll get cash or something. So if you didnt get the place you were hoping for, please take it as a learning experience instead so you can improve for any other future contests you might want to enter!

HOW AM I GOING TO JUDGE THIS.
In total there were 71 entries! If I knew that so many of you would join and put so much creativity and effort into your entries, I seriously would have thought over the prizes a bit more I'll definitely have to add some more to the prizes (the 1st-3rd places will stay the same but I'll definitely have to do little shout outs and/or honorable mentions (not sure if they'll have prizes attached yet)) Also, due to the huge amount of people who joined, I dont know if I'll have the manpower to do the chibi/bust sketches for everyone. |D But its still up in the air for now so we'll see!

Also another thing that I ask is PLEASE, PLEASE be a good sport about this contest! D: There may be a chance that you might not get what you wanted out of it (or not as much a you thought) I know that there were probably a good chunk of participants who were only in it for the cash (though that wasnt the main point of it and it was highly discouraged if thats the only reason you joined|'D) and I REALLY WISH I could give you all prizes but please know that I'm not rich nor do I have many resources to do so. I've lost many contests myself where I didnt get anything but I like to think of it more as a learning process. The journey is its own reward itself, no? :'D

THE PROMPT:
Basically you'll be creating an image depicting a character of yours and mine competing against each other. Examples could be an athletic competition, eating contest, a battle, dance off, fighting for Sky's affections, and ect. The options are limitless really! You can choose as many of my characters and as many as your characters as you want (the picture just has to have one character that is at least mine xD)I'd say the best way to come up with an idea is to find out what kind of special talents my characters have (or what they're bad at haha) and then make comparisons to your characters strengths and weaknesses. You dont have to depict a clear winner or loser in the drawing, but letting my character win won't bump up your chances of winning (most of em are usually losers actually xD)
Just wanted to clarify some things based on recent messages: You are not limited to just fighting/battling! The theme is more about competition, which can be a broad range of things. This can include fighting, but I feel like some people are thinking thats the only option. xD So yeah just wanted to clarify that!
No OCs but still want to join? No problem! Just pit 2 or more of my characters together if you want. c: It wont affect your chances of winning if you choose this option.
CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER:(nah actually you can choose as many as you want xD Clicking on a character's headshot will take you to their character page where it'll give you everything you need to know about the character. The pages are a constant WIP, so keeping checking back to see if I added anything new!)

Some Rules and Things to Know!:
- ANYONE can join! You don't have to be watching me or anything like that lol. (though I would appreciate a watch a lot!)
- Any type of visual media will be accepted. (digital/traditional art, comics, animation ect.) But no literature, sorry bout that writers! I'm not good at judging that sort of thing, since I'm not a writer myself xD
- I will accept 3 entries max per person but you can only win once.
- Multiple comic pages count as one entry as long as there is one consistent story.
- Artwork that is traced, used with a base or dollmaker will not be accepted. Its gotta be 100% you!
- Make sure my character is clearly visible in the scene and is one of the main focuses! Dont make them just a background character!
- Inappropriate humor is accepted :'D Cuz I too love inappropriate humor. But maybe stay away from making it too NSFW-y and creepy eheh. ('specially with my younger characters)
- Don't worry about making your scene "canonically" correct. Which means trying to make it so whatever scene your making make sense in my character's universe. This is a fun contest so be as crazy as you want! Pretend this is like an alternate universe! NOTHING IS CANON UNLESS I SAY ITS CANON.
- Feel free to change my characters clothes to whatever you like to match the setting they're in. My fashion sense is horrible so you'll probably make up something better that I could lol.
- Don't worry too much about drawing my characters out of character. They all have mood swings too! But maybe stay away from making them act totally opposite of what they're actually like. :'D
Your Piece will be judged by these merits:
- How well you know my characters to put them into an interesting situation with your character (or two of mine).
- Creativity of the situation. Have fun with this and make the characters do something interesting! Don't make em just stand around! If you make me laugh, thats an added bonus! 8D
- Overall presentation, so basically things like composition/skill level/appeal of the entry as well as the effort and care put into it.
Prizes!
I made the prizes in a way that you can have a choice between either a money prize or a drawing from me. So say you have an emergency and you need funds, you can choose the money prize instead of my art, which probably wont help you. xD But the money is also the equivalent of what my drawings are usually worth on average, so if you change you mind, you can always commission me with the prize money haha (I'll open slots for you as a special exception
)1st Place Prize: Your choice between $200 sent to your Paypal or a full drawing of 1-3 cell shaded characters in any background level of your choiceExamples for this prize tier:

Consolation Prizes (prizes for people who dont get a place): Everyone who joins will get a sketch chibi of any one of their characters. (subject to change) If you're not a fan of the chibi style though, you can choose to get a sketch bust instead. Everyone's entry will also be featured in a journal for about a month.
