I had some help from friends here on DA on how to sharpen the image a lot in gimp, but yes I really love this shot. The whole creek bed was just fascinating, I could have stayed there for a month!!

A park in New York state called Stony Brooks .

It was a marvellous place. I couldn't stop taking photos and would love to go back one day.

Of course, this was a very low water level - I went there in the change between summer and autumn. So it would look different with more water
