I was thinking to myself, the aliens have it all wrong, why send in BEM (Bug Eyed Monsters) to invade, just send Mandie instead!The invasion would be over before it begun...
Anyway, people seemed to like the original sketch so I elaborated just a bit... I originally drew tons of highlights for her dress (shiny vinyl) but I think I prefer the simple LBD black velvet treatment, just like deep space.
Anybody know which spaceship that is in the background (hint: one of the best B/W sci-fi films of the 1950's).

This has a Kim Possible art style feel to it. Nice job. The flying saucer is very retro looking. Pantyhose was a nice touch!

I'd just like to say:
first off, you did a most wonderful job, I've like totally fav'ed it already!
but you should know, unless it's a chibi or some form of anime I really don't like when the body's are disporportional to the head......big head + normal sized body=doesn't work for me so well
so you see, nothing wrong with the pic, it's just me.

Hmmm, that's an interesting observation considering the design motif of Butch Hartman's style...
I tend to try and reduce the head to body ratio as much as possible while still maintaining some continuity to the associated overall style of the show in question.
