Lately, I've been on a real Craig Kellman drawing kick, I really admire his design style. So going through my "morgue" of reference material, I found some screen caps from I don't know where (maybe off the old Renegade Animation website back in 2001) with some reference shots of the female characters depicted in the opening credits of "Tomcats". As I wanted to continue playing around with Toon Boom as well as drawing a walk cycle based on the op, here's what I came up with.

You will note that the only real movement is the legs but that's how Renegade animated this walk-sequence. The really cool thing is now I have some good reference key frames to use for upcoming Sara Bellum animation as CK was also the designer on PPG.

As well, Craig Kellman was responsible for the design of VaVa LaVoom from "Elmo Aardvark: Outer Space Detective". I really REALLY liked that design and I have a whole binder of Flash screencaps from the episodes where she's featured. I was planning on some fan animation as it's a great design (so is Elmo and the Robot) and lots of ideas to explore...

This will most likely end up as an animated avatar but it's a design exercise based off the movie op.
