Description
This is my newest 3d-szene. It is made for SG-P-Award. ItΒ΄s a newer version of "Deadalus in Space" with more details/modells: BC-304, F-302, "Polaris A5" (the rockets)...I hope youΒ΄ll like it.

Awesome work. My only issue with it is that the Daedalus-class ships have Vertical Launch System (VLS) missile tubes. The Polaris A5s are not VLS missiles, they are too big to fit in a VLS tube. Check it out stargate.wikia.com/wiki/BC-304

Well sounds right. At the time I made that picture I just gave the rockets a name of a missile I knew. I did not research what the BC-304 actually is supposed to launch from their tubes. But anyway an interessting fact to know.

I used Maxon Cinema 4d, at this time Version 9. Now the software is at version 16... time passes by.

of course being an EVE-Online player i always think Caldari when i see the USAF ships in the SG series.(which is fitting considering Caldari ships in EVE use both Railguns and Missiles and have advanced shielding systems).

the angle and lighting brings up an old question i had been thinking about last year, does the Daedalus have external ports for other ships like another Daedalus to attach a cable/tunnel to it in case something goes wrong with rings/beaming/hanger to allow for travel between ships?
If so where/how many/how big?
(A picture with top/bottom/front/back/right/left views of a Daedalus pointing out where they would be using arrows would be a great painkiller for this headache )

Despite what some Halo fans might think, post-Unending, a 304 could quite possibly go one vs. the entire UNSC armada.
Add a ZPM to it, and there goes half of the Covenant's ships.
