Whoo! Finished! This took me a little longer that usual because I was trying to make the background look all pretty like something out of the Pokemon movies, I don't think I got it anywhere near that standard, but I still like it anyway. I tried my best!The reason I was trying to go for a movie looking background is because I imagined this to be a scene from a Pokemon movie (where Team Rocket actually got some decent screen time), since the movies are really the only time you can expect "near-death" situations like this.

If I could, I would animate a Team Rocket series, but that would be so difficult to do. I mean, it would take a lot to make, and I'd probably get into trouble with the Pokemon creators. Still, it would be cool. ^^
That's good that it was worth putting this version up if some people prefer it to the other one.

I did sort of explain in the 2nd version of this picture what happened, but left it so it's a little ambiguous as to what exactly it was. The idea is that James was trying to protect Jessie from some kind of danger (like a legendary pokemon attack, since this is based on an idea for what could happen in a Pokemon movie). He ends up sacrificing himself to keep her safe and so ends up in this near-death situation.

I think it's because these kind of scenes allow us to see a different side to the characters we would normally get to see in their normal day to day situations. I'm happy you think my background is that good.
