It's my birthday, so I'm posting a Christmas drawing... XDYep, I have strange logic. Someone should really get the men in white coats to take me away already.
Nooo!! Of course not! I may be crazy, but there is a perfectly reasonable explaination behind this. I was hoping to get my newest drawing finished by today, but it's taken longer than I expected and I've had other things to do in between. It was meant to be a sort of birthday present to myself, but it'll have to be a late one now, as today is almost over.
Anyway, I thought, well, I have to post SOMETHING! I can't NOT post a picture on my birthday, so I decided to post this, which happens to be one of my most fave drawings I've ever done. It was actually a sort of Christmas card for my best friend a couple years back.
There is a whole lot of story behind it, as to why Sashiya and I are there, and with this particular bunch of characters, but it's long and complicated, and still ongoing. It's sort of our own roleplay that we have fun doing. It's something we've been doing since our college days, many moons ago, so I doubt anyone else would really understand it. He he he.

This is very amusing.
I love the colours and admire your patience for drawing so many characters in one picture and finding place for them all, but your poses seem jut a bit stiff!
Especially on the girl next to you. Not sure why, just seems a bit unnatural.
Otherwise ,excellent picture.

Yes, I've improved since this, at least I hope so. I believe this is at least 3 years old now, so yeah, I can agree on the points you've made. Still, it was such an amazing drawing for me at the time, and it still remains as one of my favourites, for a number of reasons. ^^

ah, I see, so these characters are all part of a huge roleplay which has been going on for years, right? Me and my brother also have this really long roleplay, which is now 11 years old and still ongoing. If I would draw all characters that we had there, I could never finish the picture. we had Sonic characters, official and fan-ones, we had Digimon characters in it, we had YuGiOh GX and 5DS characters in it... and of course also Pokemon. if I remember correctly, even Jessie and James.
anyway, really awesome picture, I can see why you like it so much. part of the picture is also your icon, I see.

A whole lot happens in our roleplays! Sashiya was the one who started it, I blame her entitely! XD She kept going one about how if she had the money, she'd get a replica of the Spencer Mansion from Resident Evil built. One day, we started acting like that was true, that she did have her mansion and that she was a manager of her own blitzball team. Blitzball was her way of teasing me with Sephiroth...
This sounds totally nuts, but it does make sense in our world, it's hard to explain it all without going into great detail.
Basically, the characters in this drawing are mostly all Sashiya's faves and they are living at her mansion for one reason or another.
Sephiroth used to live there and played on her Blitzball team, but he now lives with me, and a little while after was banned from going back after a certain incident.
Malik also no longer lives at the mansion, but he's back with his sister.
I'm intensely disliked by Kadaj and Tala. And ever since he became more of a good guy, Malik has also been treated in a similiar manner by these two, often getting called a girl. Malik and I have kinda stuck together since we both get some much stick from them.
Cloud couldn't stand me, but never told me so directly, but he's more indifferent to me now.
Sora goes round being annoying to everyone because he's bored. And Balmung's a stickler for following the mansion rules and making sure everyone else does as well.
Sashiya is hardly around because she is often busy with the paperwork side of the running of her business and mansion, she's very serious about what she does and can be quite scary when she gets angry. We're best friends, so she lets some of my antics slide, but she'll tell me off if it gets too out of hand.
I'd go into more detail about all the 'why' and 'what for', but it would take me forever, and this is really just something between two best friends who like to have a little fun sometimes. Not anything to be taken seriously, he he he.

Lol sounds like fun to play though! I love to RP with my best friend as well. My favourite senario is when we are in a magical academy with people from Negima, Shugo chara, Fruits basket. the only reason that shugo chara and fruits basket is in there is because i like Ituko and he likes Tohru, but this is your picture and i shouldn't be rambling on about things that don't concern it.
