Description This was never properly finished...

Nevertheless, it's about the saddest scene from a sad episode. It was one of the episodes of this wonderful series that really made me cry.

And since "The Jungle Movie" was never made, Arnold forever remains an orphan. That's so wrong.

Nice work here. I didn't cry when I saw this episode, but I felt like I was punched in the gut in that scene with baby Arnold crawling through the boarding house in the middle of the night, trying to find his parents.

Thank you. Hey Arnold! had a way of getting me every time with the emotional episodes. I can't seem to help crying every time.

I remember this episode well, I hated how Big Bob called him an "orphan boy" in front of everyone. What an a$$.
Of all the classic Nicktoons, "Hey Arnold!" and "Rugrats" had the most compellingly developed characters and universes that both, in one way or another, shared the desire of family togetherness. Whether it was Arnold's lack of a mother and father, Helga's own troubled family life, or Chuckie Finster's single-parent home, these characters were not only lovable but also had the realistic feelings that characters from many shows nowadays either lack or have, but humiliatingly botch up.

Yes, I believe you hit the nail on the head there. I haven't found any recent cartoons that quite manage to pull off the same feelings that Hey Arnold! or Rugrats did.

I would like to add also that the fans that grow up with 90's cartoons, seem to articulate the reason why the characters back then are more in depth than they are today. A lot of today’s younger generation doesn’t seem to care.

Yes, exactly. That does appear to be the case most of the time. It is very sad. I certainly wouldn't wish to be one of today's younger generation.

Thank you so much! ^_^ Your drawing/animation is really good.

The colouring was a combination acrylic paints and pencil crayons.

This episode was great, so was "The Journal." It's too bad The Jingle Movie was never made.

As for your work, I really love how it is true to the style; even the font is true to the style of Hey, Arnold!

"The Journal" was really good! I just really want that movie.

I always tried to stay as close to the style of show as I could. I tend to do that with most things I draw from various shows. ^^

Thank you!
