Description I drew this for my mum as one of her Christmas presents this year. ^_^
These two beautiful kitties are a couple of my furry family members. Sadly, Tango and Pepsi are no longer with us as Pepsi passed away 5 years ago at age 15, and Tango passed away earlier this year. He was 20 years old. This is a tribute to their memory. We met them on the day that they were born, as they and their siblings were born to our neighbour's cat. Despite being from the same litter, they couldn't have been any more different to each other. They couldn't have been loved any more than they were either. They were amazing and I'm thankful that they were my cats and a big part of my life.

Yep! I drew my beloved cats and put my heart and soul into it. It was a long process with this level of realism and detail, but I was really passionate and motivated to draw this for my mum. ^^

I agree. Before I started drawing them, I kind of thought that Pepsi on the right was going to be the more difficult to draw out of the two. Turns out that Tango gave me a harder time and that's why he didn't end up looking quite so realistic as his sister.

Even that sweet, cats named after soft drinks, and to be honest my cat lived to fourteen years due to some kidney failures. I hope you had a good Christmas.

The names went well together matching their fur colours. Tango also had kidney problems, but he was fed on a special renal food diet and that seemed to help a lot in giving a long and healthy life. I know some animals aren't so lucky with kidney disease, so I was always thankful that Tango was with us for so long.

Yep! After many painstaking hours of going over the details in everything!!

Mum is very pleased with it and plans to have it put on a wall canvas some time soon. They were different in looks and personality. Tango looks exactly like his mum. Aaww, Pepsi seems to be quite a popular name. Although, most of the time we ended up calling her Pepi.
