I'm a teacher of high school, but in Chilean school system Primary, Secondary and High School are all one single school (in terms of infraestructure), so if a teacher isn't a day in a class and you are "free" of classes of your own, you are to go as substitute teacher.

Problem of being a substitute teacher, it's that normally subtitute teacher means = no need to work in classes.

One of the best ways I have found for primary school children to work well, it's to offer them a small "carrot" for doing the assigned activities!

(And if kids are aware of my work online, for sure I would get quite some problems if they begin browsing my gallery, and later have some drama or other because of parents or something!

So when they suggest me to post my works online I say yeah yeah, I would see that.

Being a teacher and a illustrator: better to be two worlds apparts! XD)
