Among the beast-folk of Aiers -such as the cat people Loranor, the canid people K'Nir or the Gnolls-, there existed the myth that there was a kind of deer-people: mythical creatures that where to be the perfect preys -the most priced of them all- for the greatest of hunters:
and only they couldn't be so easily found, because how careful they where.
The stories of the deer peoples adopted several forms and different names. Shervo. Deerman. Doar. Their appearance as well was subject to debate: some claimed them to have a configuration like centaurs. Others, as a sort of faun. Others of them having the body of a man and the head of a deer, or instead, a deer with a head of a man. Spirits of the Forests, Gods of the Hunts. Scaredy Animals: they nature too was discussed.
But despite the recurrent stories about them, there couldn't be find evidence on their existence.
