K'Nir Dogmen from the K'Hiff archipelago, raiding the continental shores.

While the Dogmen weren't seen as sailors, living in the isles of K'Hiff and the eastern shores of Aels would force the Islanders to learn the way of the seas, and as Kanov and Vanolosé brown orcs remarked, they were surprised how quick they transitioned to this new role.

The Islanders "Sea Dogs" -or in a more pejorative way as they were called by their brethren of the hinterlands, "Wet Dogs"- would come to fight toe to toe with other of the emerging naval powers of eastern Aels: the Nutk men of Anutikia, a group of barbarians of the plains who had traded their horses for ships in the sea of Tok.

While the beastmen were Christians and the humans servants of the demons -changing what was normally seen in the dynamic of the Second and Third War of the Power-, and that the sailors, marines, corsairs and pirates of the K'Hiff will be greatly appreciated by the Alliance of the Whide Axis first and the Holy Sargonic Empire later, much of the pirates of K'Hiff weren't as motivated for religious reasons in their actions, but because most of the trade -and therefore, the preys- going from the sea of Hieyokscream to Tok-Thoria was of the Dark legion...

I had this sketch of a K'Nir since some time around. Reading a new tale of Argora of - Argora: Bitter Victory - made me want to do something with pirates!
