Shadow still was confused. He was fairly sure this was Sonic the Hedgehog, but comparing the picture to the robot, it didn't seem similar. Crash! Shadow looked up to the staircase. His neighbor was gonna kill him. He ran up the stairs, stumbling at how fast he was going. When he finally got up there, he saw shatterd purple crystals all over the floor. A necklace with a round piece at the end, was in Sonic's hand. Damn robots, Shadow thought. Why are they so stupid and careless sometimes?
"If I'm sooo stupid, then how did I hear your thoughts?" Sonic said.

"Shut up, Smart Mouth" Shadow replied. Sonic harrumphed, and went to walk out the door, when he saw something on Shadow's dresser. He looked back to find Shadow picking up the amethyst pieces, and grumbling choices of words. Sonic looked at the small picture. Shadow looked like he was about to get up, as Sonic started to panic. It would be impossible for him to have full emotions, but he saw Shadow's gun room already. Sonic quickly took the photo out the steel frame, copied it, and then put the copy back in. Sonic flew out the door and down the stairs, crashing his face into the floor. Shadow looked out the door and saw Sonic stuggling to pull his head out the floor. Sonic pulled hard, resulting in him falling backwards. Shadow started to laugh at the helpless robot. "Nit finy." Sonic's muffled voice said, making Shadow laugh even harder. Sonic repositioned himself, and popped out. "Ha! Who's laughing now!?" Sonic said. He tried to stand up, but now his butt was stuck in the floor. Shadow laughed so hard he fell down the stairs into the hole where Sonic's head was. They both looked at each other in silence for a few moments, before the both of them started to laugh together.

A set of baby blue eyes, peered out the window. As he watched the two laughing, did not find it amusing. Sonic could've gotten hurt! He didn't care much for the other hedgehog, since now he was supposedly, Sonic's new "Best Bud". It wasn't fair. And how could Sonic trust a thing that obviously put him in that capsule, and made Sonic forget everything!? It was horrible. The anonymous, blue-eyed silhouette took a picture with a gadget, that wasn't any kind of phone, tablet, or camera. Then, he ran off.
