Yeah it may have been a while. Yeah....
So this will be before Heila and Kibanzi became mate.
Story!
Kibanzi growled as the lioness continued following him. He had tried, multiple times to chase her away. Convince her to just leave him alone. She belonged with her pride and he was a rouge. But the stupid lioness just didn't listen to him. She was always under paw and anytime he turned around she was there.
"Why don't you just go home already?" Kiba finally spun around and snarled inches from her face.
Heila lifted her head and stared into his eyes confidently. "I've told you. When you go I'm going with you."
"No. You're not."
"Yes. I am. So I'll follow you so you don't sneak off with out me."
Kiba snarled and turned around and slouched away. If he was lucky he would lose her before the sunset and sneak away without her. He did not want anyone around him, especially a pretty lioness with sparkling orange eyes.

Of course Kiba wasn't lucky. The sun was setting and there was Heila, silhouetted on the horizon. Kiba let out a heavy sigh.
"You have to sleep some time." He warned her with his darkest glare.
"So do you." Heila hadn't been fazed by his glares from the beginning. She could see the sadness behind them. She knew there was something he was hiding that hurt him and she wanted to know what.
Kiba blew out a great puff of air, he had one more possible trick to play. "Okay. If I let you leave with me will you back off?"
Heila smiled and bound to his side wrapping her front legs around his neck. "Nope! But you said I could go with you!"
"Don't touch me." Kiba tried to pry the lioness away with no luck. When the sun disappeared she still had her arms wrapped around him with her face buried in his mane. Kiba glared irritably into the night, unwilling to admit he missed the comfort of having another warm body by his side since the loss of his pride.
