"The sun doesn't hurt your skin Shallot..? I can buy an umbrella if you would like.." Isolde said as she held her hand up in front of her eyes to block the brilliant light of the sun on this day. "Ah... Hey don't worry, I'm not gonna turn to ash or anything haha" Shallot awkwardly laughed in return at Isolde's concern for her. "But It's way brighter down south than it was in Eclipse.. Strigoi don't have any weaknesses to sun, but a shut in like me isn't exactly looking to get a tan" Shallot said with a smile, holding onto her sister's hand as they walked. "Sorry if I'm... Um... Being over protective.. Shal... But I think you understand.. It's been an ah... Emotional couple weeks for me" Isolde said as she closed her eyes, yet she gave a warm genuine smile.

The two Gwenllian sisters had arrived at the small Café, sitting at a personal table together, served their drinks by a nice young harpy. "So, you said you'll tell me more about your friends Sis? I didn't get any proper introductions besides name, you seemed pretty close with that snow elf eh?" Shallot snickered jokingly as she sipped from her tea, giving Isolde a signature grin accentuated by her fangs. "You mean Yukia? She's been a good friend to me yes.. I wouldn't have gotten into the castle without their help, I'm forever in their debt" Isolde said, dodging the question as she thought on just how thankful she was for the five... No... Six people who helped her reunite with her sister, one of them giving their lives, yet she was erased from their memories. "Tahli is very kind, Yukia is reliable and talented, Niji and Lasya work great as a team, and Rüya is... We'll she's a hard girl to describe, doesn't show her feelings very easily" Isolde said as she saw Shallot's hand shake as she brought the tea to her lips. "Shal... Are your arms ok..? You haven't used them in so long... The fact that you can use them at all astounds me... That must be your vampirism yes..? I miss your old hair colour... It was the same as mothers..." Isolde said with a melancholic look towards Shallot, her eyes watering. "H-hey! Don't you cry! You're the older sister! Happy reunion! Happy!" Shallot said as she playfully tapped Isolde's foot with her own. "I've still got to tell you about some of my friends... Well, the ones who are still around or aren't living in Ahrventia, you probably heard me mention it when Doremi brought me in, but my best friends name is Millianna, she's a Naga, and a few months ago when I fought a Marcidus Goliath in the arena she stopped me on the way there to tell me she and a human man we're getting engaged, and now that they're married! she's sent me some pictures, so adorable!" Shallot said with a smile as she looked upward at the umbrella giving them shade. "My time in Eclipse was really something else though... I rarely felt like a prisoner, probably because I thought I was all alone.. You said you've met Cthylla? You should have seen her as a preteen, what a moody little girl! Snrck..!! Estelle could hardly keep her in line! Little squid tried to eat me more than my fair share of times, Doremi obviously didn't want that, but she could never scold her daughters" Shallot said with a sigh. "I'm really sorry to have to lean on you for the time, I'm almost a thousand years old yet I don't have a job" Shallot laughed as she finished her tea.
"Oh no Shal, you'll be staying at my house till I'm certain your safe! Your big sister is keeping you captive in her own way!" Isolde said with a laugh of her own, ruffling her hand through Shallot's lavender hair. "Thanks sis... I'll keep that in mind if I ever feel bad for freeloading" Shallot said with a grin as the two sisters paid and tipped their waitress, resuming their walk through Post city hand in hand.

Here we have an epilogue story to the Eclipse's Silhouette! After reclaiming her sister from Doremi, Isolde and Shallot enjoy a short talk as sisters in the welcoming setting of a Post City Café!

This was done by and is the 4th outta 4 commissions I placed in my last wave, finally had time to write the short story and post it! I hope you all enjoy a little light hearted dialogue between two of my characters, honestly I'd love to do something like this for Lasya and Niji, as well as advancing their relationship more. Same goes for Rüya and Cthylla, with heir incredibly complicated relations haha

Really love how this one came out, just two characters in some casual clothes, enjoying each other's company. The clothes Usagi did really fit them as well! Isolde is quite refined (she is a former princess after all!) and she's wearing similar colours to her knight uniform. Shallot meanwhile is finally enjoying some non-tattered clothes, though the scars from her days as a slave remain.
