Here's a bit more progress on the Eldritch worm host queen! But this is all I will be working on this particular sketch. There's several things I plan to change in my next attempt at drawing her, I experimented with the markings on her chin, didn't like it, atleast on the tip of her chin, but I don't know about then sides, I like it, but it's similar to Quetzal. experimented with her uh.... Breast coverage, didn't like it. So those are two features that will be reworked haha. If anyone has any suggestions for clothing on our poor worm girl, I'll happily be taking ideas and name suggestions are always welcome! For both her and my recent sketch of the tiny girl OC

One of my favourite features is her face, I'll need to make it more apparent in my next attempt at drawing her, around her right eye is more corrupted, she can't see out of it herself, but her monsterous side can.

I'm thinking her basic backstory will be about her being a sickly girl, who often visited a clearing in the woods near her house. Eldritch worms can eat and digest anything, carving caves beneath the earth, eating even solid stone and metals, and one day near a stone formation by the girl a worm emerged. It consumed her and it's body metamorphosed into a cocoon where it melded with her.

Now I had planned to do what I normally do with my pencil>Ink>colour sketches, where I complete the art and then show you folks, or atleast do a finished sketch, but I felt like posting something before work. Here's (unnamed pred OC)! She's a Eldritch worm host queen! (Name pending) I was inspired by Rob/Rurikar/Brucewillakers's concept for the blood snake queen in Urealms live, where if a female elf is consumed by a blood snake snake, she can become a gorgon like creature. In the Eldritch worm's case, it's an incredibly rare event when they devour a woman with a compatible body. This pred in particular will be partially filling the tropes of the mopey fragile girl who doesn't get much sleep.

She's not fully assimilated into the hive mind, and has her own thoughts and feelings, but in the end she cannot resist her natural instincts.
If she or others of her kind mate with men, they may give birth to more queens. Her primary objective is bettering and expanding the Eldritch worms.

So... Let's hear your current thoughts! You might be able to make out some of the future shapes for her in my sketches. What are some good names? I don't think she should remember her name from when she was human, so I've been thinking of names like "host"
I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions to both her appearance and lore!
