Pokemon team commission forHe wanted his team to be portrayed in a more battle-ready way so I came up with this. The dragonair appears to be asleep since it's a Nuzlocke team member who passed away.
The team was really great, I really like these Pokemon. It was hard work but I did enjoy drawing this and I'm satisfied with the outcome, too. :>

I'm pretty happy with Flygon's and Dragonair's portrayal, too. The commissioner had a clear idea of how he wanted them to look like and I'm very glad that he shared those ideas with me so I could come up with this. It was a very nice picture to work on.

I don't think it's a Nuzlocke team, at least not all of it. As far as I know, Dragonair is from a Nuzlocke, region was Johto if I remember right.

Oh wow, awesome! I love how you still drew the dragonair the way you did, even though it did pass in the Nuzlocke. Scizor's stance is really awesome, and I love the style of Flygon. The Arcanine and Absol looks absolutely gorgeous as well! Very good work!

This is like, my ideal team. Absol and Arcanine are hands down my two favorite Pokemon, and Scizor is awesome too. Not to mention how awesome you drew all of them. I like how you interpreted Flygon, but Arcanine never seemed that lion-y to me... It's still better than what I could ever accomplish. C:

To me, Arcanine is some sort of mixture between a dog and a lion, resembling the Chinese Shisa. It is actually quite difficult to balance the two qualities properly.
