A quick lynx study that turned into a bit more than a study. Lately it's been snowing powder snow and the way it falls so silently from the sky is very calming and inspiring so I wanted to implement that into the piece.

I haven't done much digital art lately, mostly due to my reluctance to work on something computer-related after sitting in front of a computer all day at work. But I'm trying to get back into it! The process for this one was pretty smooth. A shame that I didn't think about recording it! Proud to say I was able to finish it in one sitting and I didn't get distracted by anything so yay!
I tried not to use any blur effects since I think it's much nicer when things that are undefined are represented with less precise and looser brush strokes as opposed to some kind of colour mush. It can be more distracting than you think. Even the snowflakes here are done with a very soft brush.
