I've been in a serious art lock for the past week and I just seemed to break it yesterday (This is my fourth picture finished since yesterday afternoon). For some reason I had a hankering to do fanart.. Bubbles fanart, mostly because I wanted to do her blowing bubbles. ^ ^I like it except... it's missing something.. either a blurry background... or a simple color background with her name.. something. Unfortunately my creativity ends here.

That's actually a very good idea, and something I could do with colored pencils!
And actually, I agree, I believe it's the down turned ends of the eyes to some extent, and most certain the lips. I was trying for the puffy blowing pose, but lips aren't something I do often or have ever studied, so I think they might be part of the reason why she looks sad. :3

But.. in answer to your sig: For the same reason said 'goths' automaticly think all 'preppy' looking people are snobby, rich, jerks. It's just a sad part of human nature. "We'd" rather make sweeping generalizations and cut down on the number of possible people we could befriend, then take the risk of possibly being hurt by someone with 'differing opinions'. I feel like I live in a world of crazies sometimes.. but then.. isn't a person usually crazy when they happen to believe that everyone else around them aren't sane? ^ ^;
