aaaaand this is the lineart version of my latest work.

by the way, my sister wisely pointed that the horse seems to be climbing down a steep hill, rather than making a sliding stop, so you feel free to tilt it as you wish! XD
terms of usage:
you don't have to ask me if you want to use this lineart, but you must credit me for my lines, and it would be highly apreciated if you could send me a link for your picture (either as a comment in this picture or as a note). i'd love to see what you guys can do with it!
P.S.: i've got the .png (already transparent) version of this picture, but it appeared all black in the thumbnails. if you want it, note me!

Yes, you can use my linearts anywhere you want, as long as the credit is either kept in the picture, or replaced by a written note on the pic's description.
Sadly, this was made a long time ago, and I'm not sure I still have the png version. If I can find it, I'll let you know!

Thank you. I wanted to make the pose match the horse but none of the pictures I found fit. Then I was looking through my past favorites when I found it and decided it would work. I don't know how on earth you did the legs they gave me such a hard time!

The legs were really a handful back when I drew this. I remember I had to use some references, including pics of horses at trot and passage to get the knees right.
It just boils down to a lot of practice and a bunch of referencing.

Yeah I was hoping to get some reining stops to look at but when you stop you get the dust so no good leg pictures. yeah I have to reference alot I'm really bad at getting the legs right.

Yeah, sliding stops are awesome, but the dirt spoils it all. In this case, the best thing is to take the general pose from a nice yet dusty pic, then get the details right by using other pictures.

I do reining and their fer sure awesome! But with all the ones I've seen I still can't put it all together. But what bothers me most about some reiners is the back legs lock and don't lift but the front keep moving in a troting motion to get out of the way of the back legs. But when I'm done I'll send you a link.It may take me awhile life might get in the way.

It is, but alot of horses if only shown in reining get burnt out on it. I really love dressage too but my english seat is nothing compared to my western.
