Hey guys!
Thought it was time to FINALLY make an MLP character to represent myself.
Fortune was the initial attempt, but she wound up taking on a life all her own.

So I decided instead to go way out there. I am now an ahuizotl, just like Daring Do's Ahuizotl. <3
There really aren't enough non-pony sonas... But at first I didn't want to make her an ahuizotl because I didn't like the idea that there are a bunch more ahuizotls other than our classic Ahui in Equestria. But then I realized a couple things:

1) She's just a visual representation of myself.
She's not actually going to appear in any stories I do, so what I make her doesn't matter.
She's the artist (me), not an independent character.

2) Ahuizotl may be the only one of his kind in Equestria, but there could still be more SOMEWHERE in the world. Like in the jungles outside Equestria. Afterall, Tirek came from outside the borders. Our Ahui could have just wound up there on accident before being taken in by his tribe of ponies. And the idea that ahuizotls are a rare species found lurking in the darkest edges of the world is inherently bad@$$! XD

And ultimately, I think it fits! I've got a character with hands, so I don't have to worry about holding my drawing pencil in my mouth if I don't want to be a unicorn. And I don't have to worry about representing myself as a person with a simple picture stamped on my butt.
I'm really liking the color scheme I picked. With our Ahuizotl being literally the ONLY one of his kind we've ever seen in the show, I was allowed to pretty much do whatever I wanted. But I still tried to make it somewhat believable looking. And it works with my blond hair and blue eyes of course. Fun fact, the main shade of gold on her body is actually taken from Ahuizotl's pet cheetah.
