Alright, another thing checked off my art to-do list.
Just a quick sketch I did today during class. It was a nice excuse to practice some anime drawing. I've lost my touch with it.
Most of it I really like, but the face needs some work.

I really felt like resurecting my old Tokyo Mew Mew fancharacter. It was a manga series I was really into when I was a Freshman in highschool.

Very cute, frilly, little love/action based story.

So this is Mew Latte. All the Mew Mew's have food based names. They all also have DNA from endangered species within them that give them their powers.

I switched it up a bit (when don't I?) and had Latte's animal be the Thylacine (aka, the Tasmanian Tiger), which is offically extinct (I still hope that there's some out there somewhere).

Don't argue about the idea that she could not be injected with the DNA of an animal that is not around anymore. There are preserved Thylacine specimens out there.

Her magical weapon? Well sticking with the Thylanice/Australian theme I went with a boomerang. Yes it has a heart on it. XD

BTW, as cute as her outfit is, I still think I need to play with it a little more to make it really stand out.
