I never get tired of saying that. XD
Another piece of Clopin fanart.
But I bet you can't guess who the girl is!!
*gasp* That's RIGHT!! It's ME!! XDDD
In my Halloween costume from this year.

I LOVE THIS PICTURE SO MUCH!!!
It was so much fun!! And I'm getting pretty good at the Disney style.
That's why the shading isn't as seemless as some of my other photoshopped pieces. If you look in Disney features the shading is very hard-edged. Not many gradations on the animated characters.
But I did gradate in some places where it was necessary, like on my mask and on the bells on our costumes.
But still pretty simple shading. OH, and I left out a lot of the crazy details on my cape.
For two reasons. One, if Jester me was actually in an animated movie, they wouldn't have made the cape so complicated. It would have been to much effort to animate and color it.
And also, most of the details are on the back of the cape anyway.
How do you like it? PLEASE let me know!! I couldn't wait to show it to you guys!! XD

She looks SO ADORABLE! I still cant get over how awesome the mask came out. xDD
I also really like the skirt and cape. O: The splash of pink on the cape is a really nice touch to the red, black and gold theme you've got going too! 8D

LOL!! I KNOW. I was worried about how the mask would turn out. Even though I left some details out, it was still really detailed, and I had to do the pattern freehand with a mouse. XD
And I thought the same thing. That little bit of pick breaks up the color scheme in a nice way. ^^

LOL!! Oh, yeah... VERY differesnt in the books.
He was much meaner and scarier. Apparently from what I heard, he rushed into the final battle in the book with a scythe and killed a bunch of people and sliced off horse legs. And then he was killed.

Well being brave and a good leader, doesn't mean you can't have fun.
Think about it... Movie Clopin, whether funny or not, it STILL the gypsy leader.
His people are being hunted down to extinction.
Underneith that continuously crazy exterior is a rather dark person.
There's plenty of evidence in the fact that he nearly hung two main characters in the movie just for finding the passage the the Court of Miracles.
It's sad that there wasn't much focus on him in the movie.
Being the leader of the gypsies and all it would have been fun to see him use a bunch of crafty tricks.

I plan to do a short comic about how he came to meet Esmeralda. I can't wait!!
