So would he be safer while high on catnip? Actually catnip does bliss-out and tranquilize kitties, but first there is a 10-minute hyperactive OMG PLAY PLAY PLAY! phase. Our old cat used to lie in the catnip hedge we had when her arthritis was bugging her.
