She knows not of where she is going,
But only where she has been.
She rides through the skies in her silver chariot
Pulled by black steed with starlit mane,
Outlined by the winds that she rides.

On and on, through the skies
She rides unto the dawn.
For then she disappears into the light.
The light that shines so bright
It lights the skies like heaven’s gates.

The sun rises dispelling her in all its glory
Its rays distinguish her dark beauty,
Bringing with them the light of day.
She rides to other side of the earth
The darkness following in her wake,
For she is the chariot of the night.
